Visiting colleges is very important when applying, and more importantly when you get acceptance letters back.

As a high schooler you hear different stories about every school and everyone telling you why their school is the best, but how do you determine that for yourself?

When applying to schools it's always a great decision to tour the school before making a final decision on going there. Even if you have already visited the school, knowing that you were accepted will give you a different perspective.

I’m a student at the University of Central Florida and I love it here, but it isn’t exactly what I was expecting when I applied. Sometimes the campus can be a deciding factor between one school or the other so I think it is definitely important to tour a school before fully committing to it. It is important to really be able to see yourself at your prospective school because you will be spending at least the next four years there.
